Oleotourism (=touristic activities around olives trees and groves) invites you to learn about the culture of olive oil through a wide variety of activities: guided tours of the olive groves, the mill, tastings, but also walks, horseback rides or bike rides. It is also an opportunity to discover the history of the region through the centuries by visiting the nearby historical monuments, and to enjoy splendid places and exceptional views, outside the summer tourist season.
During the harvest (roughly from October to December in the northern hemisphere), in addition to the guided tours, you can also choose to participate to the harvest itself alongside the producers and thus follow the entire production process (harvest-mill-conservation), and share with them their concern for the quality of the final result, the fruit of an entire year's work.
