Gregal is an extra virgin olive oil crafted from the lecciana variety, a cross between arbosana and leccino. This unique combination gives rise to an oil with a distinctive character, captivating for its vigor, freshness, and refined aromatic complexity.
Lecciana strongly reflects the influence of the Mediterranean Sea — a body of warm, shallow waters that generates subtle, dynamic currents and shapes a rich and diverse ecosystem. It is within this environment that the gregal wind is born, a signature breeze that brings freshness and balance, and whose spirit is captured in every drop of this extraordinary oil.
After harvesting, the olives are transported as quickly as possible to the mill, where they will be crushed. We clean the fruit and then grind it. This process yields a paste, which we gently knead and centrifuge for a short time at low temperature, never exceeding 28 degrees Celsius.
Moli Coloma Gregal
This is a very fruity and highly complex extra virgin olive oil, thanks to the wide range of clearly identifiable vegetal aromas, blending both ripe and green notes. Scents such as green almond emerge, accompanied by riper notes like fruit compote and tomato.
On the palate, it offers a distinctly sweet entry, followed by a subtle bitterness and a medium pepperiness, all perfectly balanced. The oil is very intense and highly aromatic, with a unique character while remaining true to a 100% Mediterranean style.
